Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Hey everyone! I decided to participate in the Scavenger Hunt Sunday with Ashley Sisk over at Rambling and Photos!! :) This is my first time so i apologize for the tardiness on the post! Well here we go!

Smile :)

This is not necessarily a photo of someone smiling but it sure made me smile! This day L, W, S & I decided to go on a regular photoshoot. We thought of going to the highest point of York County, PA! We parked along the side of the road and the entrance to this place was on the whole other side! So us lazy people chose to climb OVER the fence. To me, this was simple :) But to the rest of them, this was a struggle! So seeing them climb over this fence, made me smile because they looked goofy! :)

Stand Alone...

I used this photo because it really hit my heart. To me, the expression on his face reminds of someone who thinks that they stand alone. This is a very good friend of mine. He loves to play his guitar and write songs. Some times I think to myself that he feels this way. I just want everyone to know that you will never stand alone. God will always be there for you! God is at His best when you are weak and struggling!

Something Old

Last week, my mom reminded me that there were old camera equipment downstairs in the basement. she thought that there would be stuff that she could use on her camera. We figured out that the equipment had no use for her. All the cases were covered in mold and smelled bad. I knew inside that I could use the cameras for something special. I decided to use the equipment as props. I set up a back drop and began to to snap away. There were some great turn outs, Here is one of them :)

Artificial

I had trouble findong something artificial through out all the photos I have taken in the past week or so. The only thing I could find was this deer. It doesnt look real to you, does it? Just after I took this picture, I hopped right on top and pretended like i was riding it while W is snappin' away capturing the silly childish moment! Thanks W!

Repeating Pattern

The other day, we went on another photoshoot! We are on a roll with these things! HAHA! I was having trouble with this one too! I wanted to capture the right pattern! None of them really stuck out to me. Then I spotted a trash can along the road in the city of York. I thought it was really neat and perfect for this topic!

I give thanks to everyone that has took the time to look over my shots! :) I will be glad to continue on this adventure with my family and friends! May God bless you where ever you go :)

Angel Above

Recently, I have been having issues with patience. Thats why I want to start this blog. Each day, I want to learn something new that will help me better understand why I need to be patient. It is so stressful because its usually not the way i worl things. I like to get it done right away and start my objective. This is something we all need to work on.

The past couple weeks, i have been getting more in to photography. My mom and friend have been taking me on amazing photo shoots to capture whatever I can get my hands on. Today,
Wendy (friend), took me on a trip to take pictures. It snowed last night so it was the perfect time to get out there and see what we can do. the thought of snow is so peaceful. As we walk through the trails, God's creations surround us. The sound of the moving water, the birds flying through the air, the ducks and geese squaking with their families, and the cold air that freezes your body. All of this is so peaceful. Lauren, one that I call one of my BEST friends, created a blog this morning. In it, she explained the peacefulness that she woke up to outside her living room window. She described the birds resting on the snow-filled branches making no noise. Now thats what peace is. Being silent and listening to what is going on around you. Sit and watch all of Gods beauty come before you. Being patient requires having peace.

Last night, I was up pretty late looking up poems and scriptures that could help me out with my situation. One poem really stuck out to me. It told me that there is an angel from above waiting for me patiently. She is the most beautiful angel that could ever come before me. She has a voice that can gather little finchs. She has the instrumental abilities that could make my heart beat as every note is hit. This is an ordinary angel. Ordinary will turn in to extroardinary. We just have to be patient and watch it happen slowly before our eyes.

Gazing into her eyes when we first met
I knew when she was heaven sent
All i ever dreamed of, an angel from above

She had no ideas from the start
true love, id found in my heart
one of a kind, love that LASTS a lifetime
All i ever dreamed of, an angel from above

Still, her smile, my breath it takes away
wanting, needing, to hold her, so much to say
all my prayers answered when into my life she came
to me, she is everything
All i ever dreamed of, an angel from above

Like the moon, stars, morning sunrise
so much beauty, so much grace
SHE'S even more through my eyes
All i ever dreamed of, an angel from above

Together, forever, i long to be
can you see, YOURE very precious and sweet
the only one for me
All i ever dreamed of, an angel from above

Your gentle words, your tender touch, life meaning so much
wrapped tightly in each others arms i wish to be
with you, i feel so free
A vow to you i made, forever, youll have my love
All i ever dreamed of, an angel from above

Jeremiah 29:11-13 is very meaningful at this point. God has a plan for us. We have to be patient and let Him do his job!

Dear God, I put all my trust in you! I want you to take over my life and show me how to be patient. I know you have a plan for each and every single one of us. I know that in the end, your turn-out will be extroardinary!

thank you

Steps To Glory

Today was a big day for me! I ended up breaking up with the girl that I loved! Lately I have been losing feelings for her. I dont know where it came from. I decided that I didnt want to countinuouslly date a girl that I would be miserable with.
We dont know why things happen to us. God will come out of no where with something that we will never expect. Thats just how He rolls! This reminds me completely of the story of Job. Satan came to god and wanted to be let in to Jobs life to mess with him. Job was an amzing guy who was faithful and courageous. God wanted to test Job of his faith so he let satan do what he wanted as long as he didnt kill him. Satan took away Jobs family. Job was devastated. He was questioning God. He started asking his friends but no one had a good answer for him. After a while, Job realized that when all else is gone, God is still there in your life and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
God has a plan for each and every single one of us. During His plan, he will take and give to you. Its like baking a cake. There are ingredients in the process of baking the cake. What do you think flour, baking soda, etc. taste like? Is it good? No! The ingredients in your life arent going to taste good but in the end, it will turn out in to a delicious, warm, chocolate-filled cake! Mmmhmm!!! We will say, Look at this master-piece God created!!!
What I am trying to tell you is that there are steps that you have to take in order to take your walk in to the pearly gates! Take on step at a time and be patient with God!
Thank you!
